Engineer based in the UK to help us elevate the way we work, deliver, and scale with AI.
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who wants to build systems, not just write prompts.
The Role
As Prompt Engineer, you’ll be a key player in shaping how BluCactus uses generative AI, automation, and prompt engineering to drive performance. You’ll work across departments, supporting both internal teams and client projects with tools and workflows that improve speed, scale, and consistency.
We’re not looking for a technician — we’re looking for a strategic thinker who can turn AI capabilities into practical marketing outcomes.
Your Tech Stack
We actively use the following tools. You should be comfortable working with most of them, and open to learning others:

- Claude
- Make.com
- Zapier
- Perplexity.ai
- HeyGen
- Photo AI
- Opus Clip
- Instantly.ai
This role requires someone who isn’t just aware of what AI can do, but who already uses it daily to improve productivity and outcomes.
What You Bring
Essential:
- Demostrable experience with structured prompt creation and refinement
- Clear understanding of prompt anatomy: role assignment, context, formatting, examples
- Fluency in written English with strong command of tone, clarity, and copywriting style
- Proficiency in building automations with Make or Zapier
- Organised and process-oriented approach to documentation and testing
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver measurable improvements
Desirable:
- Experience in a marketing agency, SaaS, or eCommerce environment
- Familiarity with AI avatar tools or video generation platforms
- Interest in fashion, lifestyle, or retail industries
- Past experience designing AI systems or autonomous “AI employees” for business tasks
Based in the UK, preferably within GMT or GMT+1

You’ll work directly with our CEO and collaborate with performance, creative, and project management teams across the UK, EU, North America, and India. We run lean squads, trust our experts, and expect everyone to take ownership of their area of impact.
The systems you build will be implemented quickly across internal teams and global client campaigns.
